We are on the lookout for a professional, welcoming, and experienced Receptionist to join our team.
In addition to this role, you will also help out in our coffee shop on a Monday.
The remainder of the week
is covering reception and associated duties; flexibility will be required within this role to help with holiday / sickness cover.
You will perform reception, administration, and secretarial duties efficiently and effectively on behalf of the building in which you are located in.
You will be in charge of managing documentation and ensuring it is stored in the appropriate location or system.
Some additional duties will include opening and closing the building, maintaining building security, managing queries and messages from visitors, issuing visitor and staff passes, assisting with emergency evacuations, ordering of consumable goods and more.
Coffee Shop Assistant duties:
- Provide an exceptional customer experience
- Ensuring temperature control records and logs are being kept up to date.
- Serving hot and cold foods
- Stock taking and stock rotation
- Use of tills and use of cashless systems
- Maintain high levels of health and hygiene in coffee shop
- Awareness of food & hygiene standards
- Passionate about customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and visitors.
- Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
Hours:
8 hours per week (Mondays 7am to 3pm)
It doesn't matter if you've never worked in a coffee shop before as full training will be provided in all areas.
What does matter to us the most, is taking pride in what you do and a willingness to learn and go the extra mile.
Currently we do not serve fresh coffee as there are free vend machines in the cafe.
