About the role
Working within a team of qualified and experienced pharmaceutical analysts you will be carrying out hands-on routine analyses and timely approval of starting materials, intermediates and finished products to ensure products meet the requirements of our internal and external customers and thus safeguard the end user – the patient. As well as working effectively to achieve the required throughput of samples, the successful candidate will ensure the output of consistently accurate data and analytical reports which meet the required quality standards including conformance to current Control Procedures, methods, SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), Health and Safety and current principles of GMP/GLP.
About You
Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Studying for a degree level qualification in Chemistry or closely related Science discipline i.e., Pharmaceutical Science A familiarity with laboratory equipment/ safety/ techniques/ procedures and documentation systems An understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Excellent organisation skills, ability to be flexible and the ability to prioritise Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relay information to customers and colleagues promptly, concisely and accurately Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail, to ensure your work is always of a high quality Good computer skills (Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel as a minimum) A willingness to learn and to follow instructions A genuine interest and passion for working in the pharmaceutical industryIdeally you will be available to start from July 2024 for a maximum of 12 months.
Working hours for the placement will be on an alternating shift pattern:
Early Shift - Monday to Friday
Late Shift - Monday to Friday
