The Building Manager Opportunity
We're on the lookout for a dedicated Buildings Manager to lead our Maintenance and Caretaking team. In this role, you'll be overseeing day-to-day operations, prioritizing tasks, and efficiently allocating resources to meet performance standards and ensure clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and execute a comprehensive planned maintenance program in collaboration with the Estates Manager for optimal campus functionality.
- Manage building services proactively and report defects promptly.
- Provide a responsive service to address operational demands and coordinate evacuation procedures efficiently.
- Supervise on-site contractor services to ensure safety protocols and performance requirements are met.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in facilities management or related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk assessment procedures.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
