Hours:

Full-time & part-time hours available. To be worked flexibly depending on the needs of the business which includes evening and weekend working. Hours will normally be worked 7am to 3.30pm and 2.30pm to 11pm.

Heart of Midlothian Football Club is embarking on its boldest venture of recent times and has recently opened its doors to Tynecastle Park Hotel.

The hotel, located inside Tynecastle Park Stadium, is the first of its kind in the UK, being solely owned and run by the football club.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time and part-time Receptionist to join the Tynecastle Park Hotel team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily function of the front of house booking system (Room Raccoon) to ensure all reservations are managed and responded to.
  • Daytoday operation of the front desk and following procedures set out by the Head Receptionist.
  • Ensure all guests receive the highest quality and most efficient service possible.
  • Always considering ways to improve, by reviewing customer feedback to encourage customers to return regularly.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships throughout the Heart of Midlothian family.

Essential Criteria & Skills:

  • Proven Reception experience, preferably in the Hotel industry.
  • Ambitious to deliver above and beyond customer service.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office and front of house booking systems.
  • Flexibility with weekly working patterns.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to provide evidence of Legal Right to Work in the UK.
