Production Operative

  • This role reports directly to the Production Manager and is responsible for working as part of a team to produce products to a high standard of workmanship within the required timescales in a safe manner
  • The key focus of this role is to contribute in a task driven environment and complete assembly processes to the appropriate standards and requirements
  • Supporting the Production Manager, you will be responsible for playing your part in the team's requirements to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required in order to liaise closely with your team members in a professional manner
  • This is an important role within our Operations functions
  • Attention to detail and communication is key to produce accurate and concise products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Tasks include the assembly of a range of window coverings
  • This includes working with a range of materials such as aluminum and PVC extrusions, componentry and têxtiles as well as metal brackets and screws
  • Working with sizes in various metric and imperial units is a requirement
  • Maintain effective records to ensure full trace ability of work undertaken and consequential decisions

Hours:

4 and 5 day working is available

Monday to Thursday and Monday to Friday

4 days per week:
Start times are 8am-5pm (34hours per week) or 7.30am - 5pm (36hours per week)

5 day per week:
Start times are either 8am - 4pm or 9am-5pm (37.5hours per week)

Salary:
£10.42 per hour
