Job Summary

Gem Partnership Ltd is seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our team in a busy production environment. As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line, monitoring quality, and maintaining production records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Line Monitoring: Monitor the quality of materials transferred to the production line and complete production records as required for production efficiency.
  • Equipment Operation: Set up and run plant in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operate machines, and ensure equipment is running correctly and safely.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that customer specifications are adhered to and appropriate quality standards are maintained, carry out quality checks as stipulated in customer specifications or advised by the Quality Assurance Department.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Ensure that all work areas are kept clean, tidy, and free from damaged goods.

Requirements

  • Attitude and Skills: Possess a can-do attitude, good communication skills, attention to detail, and flexibility.
  • Reliability: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

Working Conditions

  • Shift Rotation: Work a 3-shift rotation, including days, lates, and nights.
  • Hourly Rate: Earn £14.07 per hour.
