We are looking for a Bookings Administrator to join our team

This role is to provide support to the Secretarial & Business Support department in a public sector and government setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing appointments and patient records efficiently, ensuring a seamless service within the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing patient appointment schedules and records
  • Providing administrative support to the Secretarial & Business Support department
  • Ensuring patient confidentiality and data protection
  • Communicating effectively with patients, staff, and other departments
  • Maintaining an organized work environment
  • Assisting in report and presentation preparation
  • Handling phone calls and inquiries professionally
  • Contributing to team meetings and service enhancements

Requirements:

  • Background in administrative roles, particularly in a public sector and government environment
  • Familiarity with medical terminologies and systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Patient-focused mindset and dedication to high-quality service
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
