THE ROLE


We are recruiting for a number of Parts Assistants aid in the day-to-day running of our busy parts supply operations.

The Parts Assistants will develop new skills and careers alongside our experienced team while ensuring the smooth running of operations throughout the business.


The role responsibilities include:

  • Computerised recording of stock movements in and out of the department.
  • Processing parts for quality control and transferring orders.
  • Working closely with technicians and department heads to deliver bespoke parts.
  • Preparing bespoke parts for shipment worldwide, and working closely with our Shipping Coordinator to produce correct documentation.
  • Maintaining and replenishing stock levels with regular stocktakes.
  • Booking parts out to the correct jobs and programmes.
  • Creating orders for the purchasing team.
  • Assisting with general stores duties and maintaining a neat, tidy and wellorganised working area.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.


You should be well-mannered with good people skills and be able to work successfully under your own initiative as well as forming part of a productive team.

You should pride yourself on your attention to detail and be confident on the telephone with good communication skills.


You should be highly motivated and capable of delivering high standards whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.


You should also have good computer skills and be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite as well as confident learning and using new computerised stock control systems.


Previous experience in a similar environment and a familiarity with invoicing and stock control would be beneficial, but not essential.
