We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Environment Service Officer, to undertake the Customer Service Practioner Level 2 Standard.
You will be joining a dynamic team that provides services across the Trust removing waste streams. It is a varied and challenging role involving the movement of waste both internally and externally.It will require the post holder to maintain and ensure that waste is moved on a regular basis and the site kept clear in line with the Environmental protection Act and HTM 07-01.

The role with be part of a flexible rota covering shifts between the hours of , Monday to Sunday based on a 37.5 hour week, covering on both our acute sites.
The main duties with include the collection, disposal and consigning of waste, collection of dirty linen, cardboard both internally and externally.
The maintenance and keeping the of the waste yards clean and serviceable, and corals clear and the use of compactors for the disposal of waste
About You:
You will be working with various individuals and teams; helping to deliver a high quality of services. You will require excellent communication skills. be able to make decisions that ensure the safe running of our services. You will demonstrate positive and committed attitude and be committed to delivering the highest standard of service. Have the ability to work on your own initiative or within a team.
Ideally you will have up to date knowledge and awareness of health and safety and manual handling, although full training will be given.
