Based near Preston, we are actively recruiting for an Administration Assistant to work on a 12-month contract basis for our leading aerospace and defence client.


The Individual
As an Administration Assistant, you will be supporting the team by undertaking general administration tasks to aid the smooth running of the office

Main Responsibilities will involve:

  • Daytoday management of departmental activities.
  • Work with a variety of different people across various departments.
  • Support departmental governance activities, including quality and document management.
  • Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) administration, supporting the department in weekly and monthly activities and concerns.
  • Identify and support the delivery of improvement opportunities within the Business Support team.

Skills/Experience

  • 2+ years' experience in a secretarial/business administrator role
  • Effective communication across all levels of the organisation is essential.
  • Motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Highly adaptable and able to work alone as well as part of a larger team
  • Hold a good level of proficiency in the setup and facilitation of virtual meetings within the UK and overseas e.g. HDVC, Telepresence, Skype
  • Strong customer service
