Role Overview:

As an Administrative Assistant at Nightingale Primary School, you will be responsible for providing essential administrative and reception duties.

Serving as the first point of contact for parents and visitors, you will represent our school with professionalism and warmth.

Your duties will include managing correspondence, maintaining records, and ensuring efficient communication both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for parents, visitors, and telephone inquiries, providing friendly and helpful assistance.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring information is uptodate and easily accessible.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and events as required.
  • Collaborate with the wider central administrative team to support Trust and academylevel administrative functions when needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or reception role is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
