Faculty Liaison Executive, Wales and Midlands

Overview:
To promote key SAGE Publishing products and solutions to faculty at academic institutions in the assigned sales territory. Maximising exposure of Sage Products to faculty to support and drive sales conversations.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with existing and new SAGE customers to present and support sales of digital library products
  • Work closely with Marketing & Customer Success colleagues
  • Maintain and support existing business e.g., subscription renewals in territory
  • Research and provide information on courses at institutions in territory and report on key trends
  • Develop outstanding product knowledge across the full product range
  • Provide market intelligence to the sales, editorial and marketing departments on market conditions, competitor activity
  • Attend conferences and meetings to ensure knowledge and training is kept up to date
  • Present & demo Sage Products to faculty to maximise exposure and create interest at faculty level
  • Maintain CRM and ensure all activities are updated and processed in a timely manner
  • Work closely with Senior Sales Manager for the territory to identify customers to target in line with annual sales targets

Qualifications & Education:

  • Organised with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
  • Ability to present confidently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
