About the RoleThe Refugee Resettlement team offers assistance to Asylum Seekers and three Home Office supported Resettlement Schemes - UKRS, ARAP, and ACRS. This is an excellent chance for someone to join a growing team in response to the increasing needs and demands for delivering services to Refugees and Asylum Seekers. The role involves working alongside the Voluntary and Community sector as well as other statutory services.
The Resettlement team is a part of the broader Community Safety Team within the Communities, Environment, and Resident Services Directorate.
The role entails providing project management support and overseeing the performance of various contracts and small grants with external providers offering services across the City and County. The responsibilities include:
- Delivering Best Value and high-quality accessible services.
- Building strong partnerships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Reporting on contract performance, Service Level Agreements, and grants, along with developing suitable tracking systems.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to think creatively, identify problems, and devise solutions.
- Flexible approach to adapt to evolving processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with a positive and confident attitude.
- Excellent IT proficiency.
