Job Title: Data and Projects Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data and Projects Officer to join our team at the Transformation Unit. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the HRC Programme Manager and Directors, ensuring the smooth operation of the NIHR RehabHRC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide management support for the operational activities of the HRC, including collating and presenting information for reports to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage data on KPIs and project milestones, coordinating and administering meetings, travel, and events as required.
  • Support the HRC Programme Manager to ensure that activities comply with the rules of the NIHR and are conducted within the schedule of the project.
  • Develop and publish materials for internal and external websites and newsletters.
  • Liaise with external contacts to publish online materials.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND, or equivalent OR substantial work experience.
  • English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent OR substantial work experience.
  • Broad experience of working in a busy office/administrative environment where several tasks need to be undertaken simultaneously.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office 365 suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Previous experience of supporting research/clinical trials in a university or NHS environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of academic staff, healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and industry colleagues.
Working Arrangements:

The role will be based on site, with some flexibility for hybrid working.
