About the Role

Morrison Energy Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project SHEQ Advisor to join our Electricity Transmission Division. As a key member of our Site Project Teams, you will be responsible for providing expert SHEQ advice on high-profile projects, working closely with site teams and customer representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage SHEQ issues on site, including client liaison, and ensure investigations and actions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Implement SHEQ requirements and considerations at all stages of project development, delivery, and close-out to eliminate or reduce known health and safety risks.
  • Provide professional operational SHEQ direction and support to all departments through project lifecycles.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and implement SHEQ policies and procedures.
  • Undertake site inductions, attend liaison meetings, and support the development and review of SHEQ Plans.
  • Monitor project site set-up processes to ensure SHEQ requirements are considered and implemented.
  • Provide progress reports to the Health, Safety, and Quality Manager as required.
Requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Conversant with Microsoft Office packages.
  • Knowledge of Overhead Line and Sub-station industry, Health and Safety legislation, and best practice.
  • Previous experience in an Engineering environment and project work, particularly rigging and overhead line modern construction techniques.
  • Knowledge of CDM legislation, IEMA/IOSH Foundation in Environmental Management, and NEBOSH general/construction certificate.
