About The Role
FDM Group Ltd. is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a skilled professional to work as a Project Management Office (PMO) Analyst in a hybrid role. The successful candidate will be expected to work in the office approximately once a week. This is a contract position for 6-9 months.
As a PMO Analyst, you will have expertise in financial governance, SAP purchase requests, purchase orders, and journal transfers. You will manage project financials across the UK Digital Technology Change Plan. You will also assist in new initiatives, including resource and capacity management. The PMO Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis and support to programs and projects. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support decision-making and ensure the successful execution of programs and projects. You will work closely with program and project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to monitor financials, identify budget risks and opportunities, and contribute to financial management of the Change Plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure project financials are always controlled and stay within financial governance.
- Ensure projects adhere to financial processes.
- Complete monthly and year-end financial activities on time and correctly.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting for programs and projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Identify and analyze financial risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and optimize project financial performance.
- Ensure conformance to financial governance.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support effective decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of financial models, business cases, and investment proposals to support project decision-making.
- Produce and maintain project financial reports and cost models.
- Monitor project financials and provide regular updates to program and project managers and stakeholders.
- Complete year-end financial activities.

Requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills to ensure project financials are always controlled.
- Good understanding of SAP, purchase requests, purchase orders, and journal transfers.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify issues, take corrective action, and help prevent future re-occurrence.
