Our roastery in Basildon which is where this role is based, is one of the biggest roasteries in Europe and allows us to produce up to 45,000 tonnes of coffee a year.

This is where all our coffee beans supplied to the UK and most of the world is roasted and packed, and we must say it's a truly fantastic team and site to be part of.

A bit about the role

Supporting the management of all aspects of technical, quality and safety compliance through best practice, you will need to also be involved in the following.


  • Auditing of the required Food safety, H&S and Energy and Environmental standards systems and processes
  • Supporting the delivery of food safety and H&S training, for all Production employees, including new starters, ensuring consistent team engagement on the site safety systems
  • Maintaining and updating accurate compliance documentation and records
  • Preparing monthly KPIs reports
  • Maintaining the specification repository up to date for Basildon Production
  • Support the achievement of food safety, H&S and sustainability certifications on site
