When you are not on duty at the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa, you have access to request to stay overnight at a discounted rate, where available.
About the Role
Our Front of House Team are the stars of our resort who warmly welcome our guests and are their point of contact throughout their stay with us.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a 'sense of arrival' by using proper greeting and last name. Introduce all guests to our Reception Team.
- Ensure luggage is taken to guest's room in an efficient manner and explain all facilitates within the guest's room
- Deliver messages, newspapers and amenities or packages to guest rooms and support with room service requests
- Maintain a clean work area including Library and Lobby and ensure all doorways and outlying areas are swept
- Handle all guest concerns in a professional and effective manner following through on all guest problems
- Responsible for all hotel staff in the evening to ensure they follow Hotel Fire and Health and Safety procedures.
- To follow AA/Visit Scotland & IQA Standards with regards to Guest Checkin, Check-Out, Rooming & Taking and Delivering Guest Wake Up Calls
You will be an enthusiastic, friendly and confident individual who has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You will enjoy working as part of a team but can also work independently, following evening work plans. Ideally, you will be an SIA License Holder and have a full clean Driving License.
Salary
This is a fixed term contract until 31st of October working a night-shift rotation of 4 on and 4 off from 8 pm to 8 am.
