Lincolnshire Herbs is one of the largest growers of fresh cut and living pot herbs in the UK and we have an opportunity for a full time Machine Operator to join our team based in Bourne, Lincs.


  • To operate a fully automated seed sowing line
  • Fulfilling the daily Sowing and Plug Plan, ensuring these are always sowed with 100% accuracy
  • Setting up, operating the machine and correcting any faults throughout the day with the machine
  • Completing all paperwork correctly as required.
  • To achieve production KPI's, targeting improved operational and financial performance within the sowing area
  • Engage with the maintenance team regarding machine breakdowns and other issues which may arise
  • To carry out all tasks safely, with minimum risk, in accordance with the company Health and Safety regulations
  • To carry out duties ensuring quality of products

Person Specification:

  • Good communication skills, a positive attitude and be able to follow instruction
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Be reliable, punctual and have a flexible approach to working hours
  • To be considered you must be numerate with a good standard of written and spoken English
  • Attention to detail is vital in this role.
