Footprint Recycling is a waste management and environmental consultancy business that is looking to expand our sales team.

We are looking for an energetic person for this role who is passionate about the services they sell.

They must be able to build strong relationships with existing as well as new clients and collaborate with the Tele - Sales team to help drive sales and hit targets.

The majority of sales will be focused on new business so you must be a motivated self starter.


You will be responsible for all stages of the sales process from cold calling, surveying, quoting and closing the sale.


Skills and Experience:

  • Developing business relationships across all commercial sectors
  • Auditing of sites/jobs in order to establish clients requirements
  • Actively work to build knowledge and rapport with clients which may involve visiting sites across the Northwest.

Submission of formal quotations and tender bids:

  • Providing accurate information through to the operational team to ensure contract/job requirements are met: Building pipeline for single and multiple site services.
Ability to self-generate own leads.

Principal Responsibilities / Knowledge / Experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience within sales
  • Generate new business opportunities in line with monthly activity and sales targets
  • Responsible for all stages of the sales process from cold calling to negotiating and closing the sale
  • Maintain a professional relationship with customers and ensure they are kept satisfied with the company's services.
Proven experience of working or selling at least one of our core services.

Proven experience of developing and increasing business

  • Prompt and accurate reporting to Sales Manager as necessary
  • Computer literate and comfortable using a computer for various tasks
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
