The Role:

About You:

As a Finance Assistant at Optima Partners, you are methodical, analytical, and possess a deep understanding of financial principles. You are comfortable navigating financial software, spreadsheets, and databases, extracting and interpreting critical data to inform decisions.

Your attention to detail is impeccable, and you exhibit a strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

With your excellent communication skills, you are adept at presenting complex financial information in an understandable manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements.
  • Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes with accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all tasks.
  • Maintain organised financial records and carry out routine data entry tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with the finance team and other departments to support financial objectives.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in a finance or accounting role (preferably 12 years).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to process and analyze financial data accurately.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively presenting financial information.
