You will be required to work 20 hours per week, and we are flexible on the hours and days to suit your circumstances.

M&BG Ltd are a fast-expanding Facilities Management Company providing a wide range of Commercial Maintenance Services to Commercial Client's.

Our Head Office is in South West Birmingham and we have a Branch Office near Loughborough in the East Midlands.

Our current annual turnover is over £4 million, split between 8 departments.

Requirements:

  • Hardworking, highly organised and computer literate.
  • Experienced and proficient in all aspects of Sage 50 accounting software.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with mínimal supervision.
  • Preferably 5 years industry experience with 2 years' experience as a Credit Controller.
  • Accountancy qualification AAT are preferred but not essential.

Role includes
Sales Ledger

  • Debt management and collection of customer accounts.
  • Raising Daily & monthly invoicing
  • Allocating customer payments
  • Ensuring daily targets are achieved such as chasing customers debt and resolving disputed invoice queries.
Purchase Ledger

  • Checking and entering Purchase invoices
  • Allocating payments to suppliers
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Be able to on their own initiative and take responsibility.
  • Be experienced in Credit Control, Accounts Payable and Sale Ledger.
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Be good at managing workloads to proactively work to tight deadlines.
  • Project a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate an excellent level of written and spoken English.
  • Be an experienced user of Sage 50, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
