Reporting to:
Head of Policy /Senior Policy Lead

DISCLAIMER:

BACKGROUND:

Suzy Lamplugh Trust is the UK's pioneering personal safety charity and leading stalking authority, established in 1986 following the disappearance of 25-year-old Suzy Lamplugh whilst at work.

We work towards creating a society in which people are safer - and feel safer - from the prevalence of stalking, harassment, aggression, and violence, achieved through supporting people; education; and campaigning.

Following a successful bid in 2017 for Police Transformation Funding, the Suzy Lamplugh Trust were responsible for the mobilisation and project management of three Multi-Agency Stalking Intervention Programme (MASIP) sites across England - London, Cheshire and Hampshire.

MASIP was implemented in response to the continued lack of effective response to stalking perpetrators, working to manage the risk posed by stalking perpetrators by ensuring the victim voice was central to the response, criminal justice agencies recognised and responded robustly to stalking and that there were opportunities to intervene directly with the perpetrator to address their behaviour.

We are now in the process of establishing further sites across the UK to develop the model and provide further evidence of effectiveness.

You will be working for a growing charity that delivers high value impact to its beneficiaries, through its legacy, integrity, and credibility.

We are an organisation that has been responsible for the education of millions of lone and frontline workers across all sectors for three and half decades, has campaigned heavily and played a pivotal role to drive changes in the law including the introduction of the stalking laws, has supported over 55,000 victims and survivors of stalking since the inception of its National Stalking Helpline service in 2010, and has always tackled violence against women and girls at the core of what it does.

Don't just take our word for it
