We are currently seeking an experienced, full time (40 hours per week) Payroll Assistant to join our organisation.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Processes the Company's payroll.
  • Computes employees positive return and processes payroll via Sage payroll programme.
  • Supports employees on wage queries and assisting in understanding Company employment processes with regards to wage processing.
  • Ensure Online Gateway with HMRC is maintained for PAYE, National Insurance Contributions and other benefits.
  • Liaising with providers of services, supplies and meeting them to maintain business relations.
  • Assist in implementing new technology such as rota systems and clocking in machines.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Good numeric and literacy skills
  • Good computer skills all Microsoft programmes
  • Experience of using Sage is beneficial
  • Caring attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • A strong team worker
  • Supportive and patient
  • Reliable and punctual

Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure.

Normal working hours are Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm. However, on occasions may include evenings and weekends to meet business and operational needs.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
