About the Trust


The University Hospital of North Tees is located on the outskirts of Stockton town centre, and it is easily accessible via both car and public transport.

There is onsite parking and additional visitor car parking on Hardwick Road (fees will apply). It has an onsite restaurant where staff are eligible for a discount. There is also a café where drinks and light snacks are available.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Will be assisting with front facing patient/complainant duties in the Patient Experience Office.
  • Answering the door, taking telephone calls giving basic complaint process advice, documenting basic complaints referring to senior staff where appropriate.
  • Inputting complaints onto datix
  • Liaising with patient safety teams daily
  • Visiting wards and departments to document patient's stories

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written

  • Microsoft office skills
  • Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge of pivot tables and Concatenate (essential)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Previous admin experience
  • NHS System Knowledge
  • Previous NHS experience
