What will I be doing in the role?

  • Providing accurate and market leading technical advice within the parameters set by the team leader
  • Ensuring all advice is delivered to the highest standards and in line with company procedures
  • Primary ownership of the technical enquiry streaming process providing an escalation route from selfhelp tools
  • Consulting with customers and responding to their needs whilst maximizing commercial opportunities through specification and technical improvements
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvements in how things are done within the team to improve team effectiveness and efficiency
  • Contribute to the ongoing development, refinement and maintenance of the knowledge bank used by automated selfhelp tools, including identifying trends of questions being asked
  • Identify and make suggestions for new selfhelp tools to aid the customer in choosing SGIS product and system solutions in a way that enhances their experience
  • Taps into the sources of technical and professional knowhow across the team and business on an ongoing basis to keep abreast of changes within the industry thereby using the latest knowhow to advise and support customers

In this role you will be a technical expert providing market leading advice to customers, specifiers, and internal staff, prioritizing incoming enquiries as directed by team leaders.

Ensuring all advice is delivered to the highest standards and in line with company procedures.

  • Maths & Science qualifications
  • Computer literate
  • Relevant experience and technical knowledge ideally in the construction industry
  • Experience working in a customer service role and the ability to understand customer needs and translate into service provision
  • Can remain patient, positive, and calm in a fastpaced environment
  • Full UK Driving License
