We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled contract & supplier specialist to join our supplier management team for technology in London.

We are looking for a Technology Category and Supplier Specialist to:

  • work in a team of experts that oversees and manages supplier relationships and is responsible for the negotiation of strategic technology deals
  • support and assist our Complex Deal Specialists in the preparation and execution of strategic deal negotiations
  • monitor and report on the performance of selected strategic supplier relations to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations, inclusive of the vendor risk framework
  • liaise with procurement partners to review, report on and revise commercial agreements as necessary
  • engage and drive sustainability topics within the supply chain organization specifically for technology categories Your team You will report directly to the head of supplier management technology. Supplier management team is part of the Supply Chain organization, a function in Group Corporate Services (GCS). Supply Chain was created to enhance value identification and delivery within GCS, supporting UBS with its third-party vendor management. Your expertise
  • Bachelor degree with 3-5 years of experience in working with large technology suppliers
  • previous experience in technology procurement and related processes matured within an international organization
  • basic experience in Finance, Accounting and Risk Management processes
  • detail-oriented with structured, organized, methodical planning skills
  • ability to work effectively with staff from a diverse mix of backgrounds and cultures
  • strong communication and problem solving skills, and advanced stakeholder management skills
