Band 3 Health Care Assistant Children's Complex Care
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit Band 3 Health Care Assistants. The team supports children with complex health needs in their own homes and schools. We are looking for confident innovative HCA's to join our Children's Complex Care team working across Birmingham.
You will participate in the provision of basic nursing care and specialist care for children who have a range of complex disabilities due to chronic disease, congenital abnormalities, trauma, or who are terminally ill and at the end of their life.
The post holder will work as part of the nursing team and supporting the other members of the multi-disciplinary Team.
The post holder may be required to work within the service user's home / a hospital / hospice / school, or day centre environment depending upon their individual needs at that time
You will need to be flexible in the community setting and a good team player and be able to develop collaborative working relationships with other healthcare professionals, services and agencies.
