Join our dedicated Complex Care Team as a Clinical Support Worker at Band 3, in a permanent role focused on delivering exceptional care to children and young individuals with intricate health needs.
Role Responsibilities
In this position, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care, including:
- Administering nutrition and fluids, often through gastrostomy
- Managing medications and performing tracheostomy care
- Conducting suctioning and catheterization procedures
As a key member of our team, you will work in a community setting, covering various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays. Flexibility in travel across designated areas is essential, as you will be required to reach multiple locations.

Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- GCSEs in Math and English Language (A-C/9-4) or equivalent
- Completion of the Cavendish Care Certificate within the initial months of employment
- A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or relevant experience
Additionally, candidates should demonstrate:
- Experience in providing care to children, young people, or adults
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Self-motivation and a proactive approach to tasks
This position is subject to enhanced DBS disclosure.
