Overall Purpose of the job


To provide support to the Marketing and Operations teams on the delivery and communication of key initiatives, contributing to the overall success of the company's branding activity.

To be an active member of the Marketing team supporting branding initiatives, executing marketing campaigns within annual financial targets, creating PR initiatives to build customer loyalty to attract new customers to both in store and online.

Key Objectives


Assist with development and execution of seasonal marketing campaigns calendar in alignment with key stakeholders including Operations, Commercial and Marketing Teams.


Coordinate all in-store communications; responsible for developing and implementing all Marketing Briefs and Marketing plans including store POS and regular communications to Operations and Stores to drive sales.


Responsible for all campaign planning, implementation and reporting on loyalty mobile app activity in order to grow our loyal following and customer engagement.

Support the shops as required, this will include visiting PAUL shops regularly.


Support the Marketing team in the development and implementation of all activities relating to and including; NPD, PR and all communications.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

Marketing Activity

Develop close links with the PAUL France Marketing team to ensure synergy across the brand.


To implement the annual marketing calendar to drive sales, grow customer loyalty and increase consumer awareness of Paul UK with regular reporting on campaign results.


Develop Marketing campaigns for stores and plan the creative assets distribution to support annual events (e.g., Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter), seasonal campaigns and new product development launches.


Liaise with relevant areas of the business relating to their specific contribution to the delivery of visual merchandising and marketing initiatives.


Participate in development of communications to new, loyal, prospective and regular customers via instore communication, digital comms and external media using compelling photography and engaging copy.


Support Retail Operations on the promotion and consistent delivery of customer events in order to maximise sales and build customer loyalty.

Assist in drive to web communication via in-store comms.

Support and assist the preparation, planning and delivery of communication campaigns for new shop openings.

Visual Merchandising & POS


Develop and regularly update in-store point of sale signage and promo packs, ensuring timely and accurate communication and delivery to shops.

Support photoshoots in line with PAUL Brand guidelines.

Develop and support the execution of window and in-store promotional changes and campaigns.

Regularly visit and support shops to ensure visual standards are maintained according to guidelines.

To assist with stock control of all POS held in storage and reordering to maintain optimum levels.

New Product development

Support NPD and co-ordinate product trials ensuring Manager enthusiasm for new products.


To implement a marketing plan to support the successful promotion of new products and seasonal ranges, including the printing and production of all store marketing materials.

To implement a marketing plan to support the successful promotion of new products supporting New Product Development.

To prepare labels and promotional materials.

To assist with all activities relating to photography for new product launches.

Customer Loyalty App


Serve as internal app ambassador and support Operations team with regular training updates and in store comms to promote the app.

Regular reporting on all successes and learnings.

Support resolution for all store and customer enquiries in relation to app usage and campaigns.

Market Research and Analysis


Contribute to competitive market research and competitor analysis; report findings to be used in new product development and seasonal campaigns.

Participate in marketing research and market studies and competitors store checks.

Partnerships

Leverage existing UK and International partnerships to drive exposure and sales to PAUL.


Identify the opportunity and launch new partnerships in alignment with the marketing plans to build synergy of the PAUL brand, drive new customers to PAUL products and shops/website.

Coordinate activities to identify and fulfil partnership requirements, and report on results.

Additional Responsibilities


To support the Marketing team and the business in general in the delivery of specific projects and activities as and when required.

Provide creative input and make suggestions to the Marketing and Operations team.

Assist with the planning and execution of external events attending as required.

Skills & Personal Attributes

Marketing degree or similar level educated

2-3 years marketing experience

Excellent communication skills

Effective time management

Experience working with external agencies - PR, associations, partnersh
