At Acorns we provide care and support for life limited or life threatened children and their families.

We are a charity, so most of the care that we provide is funded through fundraising and through our shops.


To help us to continue to provide the care that we do, we are looking for fun and enthusiastic volunteers to join us in our shop in Barnt Green.

Our shops are exciting and dynamic, with no two days being the same. From our walk-in customers, to receiving donations, and everything in between.

This shop is unique with a specific children's shop as part of the two stores.

Here is where you come in.

As a Volunteer Retail Assistant with us, you will be:

  • Sorting and pricing donations for sale in the shop
  • Steaming and dry hanging
  • Engaging with customers
  • Working on the tills
Nice to haves

While we require no previous experience, these would be nice to have

  • An eager and welcoming personality
  • A great team spirit
  • A few hours you can spare at your convenience
