The School of Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University is now looking for a Principal Lecturer in Psychology for up to 24 months.

This post provides an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and motivated team and contribute to our continued development.


You will have the opportunity to contribute to teaching and to provide academic leadership in the design and delivery of high-quality programmes of study.

You will lead and contribute to specific work streams focussed on supporting quality improvements to our existing undergraduate and postgraduate portfolios.

The focus will be on enhancing the student experience and improving employability.


You will have the opportunity to contribute to teaching on our successful BPS Accredited programmes at undergraduate, Masters level (Forensic and Investigative Psychology, Health Psychology) and Doctoral (Health Psychology) levels depending on your qualifications and experience.

In addition, the School has a MSc in Positive Psychology and Wellbeing and a MSc in Brain and Behaviour.
