Receipt and Distribution Operatives are at the heart of the hospital delivery system.

Working within the procurement team, they perform a vital role ensuring that the hospital teams have full stocks of crucial materials and equipment.

Working within a fast-paced team, you will assist in the receipt and distribution of stocks to wards and departments, whilst providing support to customers, clinical and support staff.

Main Duties


You will receive, check, receipt and distribute goods and equipment to support a well-managed, timely, stock management service across the Hospital.


You must be efficient with IT systems and will assist with the put away of ward and departmental stocks, in accordance with user requirements, following the agreed procedures.

You will provide assistance, guidance and support to all customer clinical and support staff, and deal promptly with customer queries and complaints related to the service and products supplied, ensuring effective supply chain management at all times
