About the Trust
Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust is a Mental Health Trust and, given the nature this post, may include exposure to distressing information and circumstances

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Provide a full secretarial and support service to the Chief Pharmacist and other Pharmacy Team members, ensuring that the work is completed according to the standards and timescale set, as follows:
  • Type minutes, policies and protocols, and correspondence from draft.
  • Design and produce forms, departmental procedures, etc.
  • Maintain spreadsheets and databases including general staff information
  • Deal with telephone queries.
  • Sort, process and distribute incoming and outgoing post.
  • Organise and develop relevant filing systems.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Previous secretarial/PA experience
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
