Responsibilities:

Recording Transactions:Enter financial data like sales, purchases, receipts, and payments into the accounting system.

Reconciling Accounts: Make sure all financial records are accurate by checking bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

Processing Invoices and Payments: Handle paying vendors and suppliers by checking invoices, getting approvals, and processing payments.

Assisting with Payroll:Help with paying employees by preparing timesheets, calculating wages, and ensuring taxes are correct.

Preparing Financial Reports: Assist in making reports and budgets for management to make decisions.
-
Maintaining Financial Records:Keep financial records organized and easy to find.
-
Communicating with Stakeholders: Talk to different departments, vendors, and clients to solve problems and process transactions quickly.

Adhering to Regulations: Follow accounting rules, laws, and company policies to keep financial data correct and safe.
-
Assisting with Special Projects: Work with the finance team on special tasks to improve how finances are handled.
-
Continuous Learning:Stay updated on changes in accounting rules, laws, and industry trends to improve skills and knowledge.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating purchase and use of office supplies and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Commitment to accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
