We are seeking an Engineering Development Manager with a strong background in software development and data engineering.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and driving technological excellence.
This role will involve overseeing both the software development and data functions, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Lead and mentor the software and data teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.- Oversee the end-to-end development process, from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of software products.
- Manage data engineering projects, ensuring the efficient collection, storage, and analysis of data to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Implement best practices in software development and data engineering, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, integrating relevant innovations into our technology stack.
- Produce stats and report to senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Proven experience in data engineering, including data warehousing, ETL processes, data analysis and data science.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of developing and mentoring talent.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, .Net and/or JavaScript is highly desirable.
