We are 2,800 people working within 8 bakeries, 1 flour mill, and 2 regional distribution centres across the UK.Our success is a result of the hard work of our people; they are experts in their field whether it's baking, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, or the many departments within the central functions team based in our head office in High Wycombe.

We are now searching for a Engineering Team Leader to join our Engineering Team at our Bradford Site.The role will be responsible for leading functional excellence in a team of line engineers focused on improvements, as well as generating and delivering plant reliability in all areas of the site.
Key duties include:
-nBe the lead engineer on site in the absence of the engineering FLM's (out of office hours)nLead and motivate the line engineers and record work completion through set KPIs.nResponsible for work log completion and shift handovernPPM & Corrective work compliance (Including maintenance systems improvements and supporting the team with IDhammer)nCo-own MBD reporting with manufacturing, ensuring full RCA conducted with robust solutions implemented/plannednTo drive continuous improvement ideas and assist in cost savings initiatives or any projects givennWork closely with Manufacturing FLM's to assist in delivering broader site KPI's (Waste, OEE)nFull understanding of ratio > running > stopped maintenancenProvide specific detail of breakdown incidents and remedial actions to engineering FLM'snDrive HSE through department and accident management procedures, including accident investigate initiationnManage external contractors on site out of office hours
The successful candidate must have:
-nRecognised Engineering degree or apprenticeshipnBakery or food industry experience (FMCG)nEngineering experiencenGood knowledge of H&SnGood communication skills, written and verbalnTeam PlayernAbility to work on own initiativenBe adaptable, flexible and demonstrate a willingness to accept changes in operational requirements at short notice
This is a full time, permanent position working shifts (4 on 4 off) based at our Bradford Bakery.
