We are currently seeking an Engineering Team Leader to join our Engineering Team at our Bradford site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead engineer on site in the absence of the engineering FLM, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with maintenance systems.
- Oversee work log completion, shift handover, and PPM & Corrective work compliance, including maintenance systems improvements and supporting the team with IDhammer.
- Drive continuous improvement ideas and assist in cost savings initiatives or projects, working closely with Manufacturing FLMs to deliver broader site KPIs (Waste, OEE).
- Provide detailed breakdown incidents and remedial actions to engineering FLMs, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime.
- Manage external contractors on site out of office hours, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Requirements:
- Recognized Engineering degree or apprenticeship.
- Bakery or food industry experience (FMCG).
- Engineering experience.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to accept changes in operational requirements at short notice.
