Area Security Officer

Nights, Days and weekends, permanent.
Pay rate:
£11.50 per hour.
The Area Security Officer role would suit those with excellent interpersonal skills and who wish to develop skills in security, gatekeeping, and as a Security Officer.
Roles and Responsibilities will include the following dependent on the site:
- Providing relief for security teams at a variety sites.
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment & ensure safe access to the building at all times.
- Carrying out patrols/hazard reporting etc as requested.
- Ensuring all Health & Safety policies are adhered to.
- Completing all necessary reports in line with company documentation.
- Access/ Egress control.
- Monitoring of alarms & CCTV system.
- Key Holding responsibilities.
- Controlling and monitoring access to the carparks.
- General refuse management & ensuring overall tidiness on site.
- Provide a high standard of customer service.
- Be polite, helpful, and diligent, with a 'can do' ethos.
- Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations.
- General cleaning and upkeep of site.
- Valid frontline SIA Licence.
- Must be able to travel to sites within the region mile radius).
- Valid and full UK driving licence.
- Access to own vehicle.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Fully comprehensive 5year work/education history.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliability.
