As a Child Protection Worker, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and managing the risks faced by vulnerable children.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children's safety and wellbeing
Developing and implementing tailored care plans for individual children and families

Collaborating with other professionals, such as social workers, healthcare providers, and educators, to ensure comprehensive support

Regularly reviewing cases and making informed decisions to protect children from harm

Providing emotional support and guidance to children and their families

Liaising with external agencies and attending court hearings, when required

To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria

  • Proven experience in child protection or a related field
Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong assessment and decision-making abilities
