An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Lead to join our Furness Rapid Response team.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage the Furness Rapid Response Service, taking the lead role and being accountable for the performance, quality, and clinical effectiveness of the team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the overall day-to-day operational workload for the team, ensuring timely appraisals, mandatory training compliance, sickness management, and all relating human resource activity with the support of the HR team.
- Manage a small and highly complex caseload of patients, who have diverse complexities of need, utilising all appropriate resources effectively.
- Ensure high standards of care are delivered to patients and their families/carers within their home environment or on the Step up/down units.
- Contribute to service development, support development of collaborative working, and integration with health and social care providers.
We operate from three main hospitals: Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises.
We provide a range of General Hospital services, including Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, and various Consultant-led services.
