Simpson Judge have been approached to help an existing client in Liverpool.

Their role has variety, you are part of a small team, their modern and amenity rich location means you can step out and have a wander at lunch.

It's a lovely role for either a newly experienced Accounts Assistant with a few years work history or someone looking to get into a varied role alongside study.


Here is a snapshot of duties:

  • Recording and reporting all client rents (+£10m) received accurately
  • Processing customer deposits and refunds
  • Raising customer invoices on Sage
  • Processing supplier invoices on Sage and ensuring the company authorisation procedure has been adhered to
  • Querying purchase invoices where discrepancies arise, or have not followed company procedure
  • Matching delivery notes to purchase invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing weekly payment runs on online banking system
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Assisting in the running of payroll (+6m)
  • Petty cash management
  • Processing incoming post
  • Assisting with production of monthly management accounts
Working hours will be 40 hours per week Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00pm.
