Developmental Paediatric Cns for Peripheral Nerve

To attend outpatient clinics and support the provision of an effective patient assessment and education service through the pre-operative assessment clinics.
Perform any clinical procedure, which is necessary for pre-operative assessment. Request diagnostic and clinical investigations as appropriate.Attend pre-operative conferences and post-operative ward rounds as necessary. Run stand-alone follow-up outpatient clinics for patients who have routine operations. Support ward-based nursing staff with information and advice about all aspects of surgical care. Collaborate in the development of protocols concerning patient care and nursing practice.
Facilitate the development and implementation of protocols for post-operative care, and use clinical judgement when deviation from protocols is indicated.
