Role purpose


The CRM team's vision is to operate a world class centre of excellence that supports our regional and local markets in crafting CRM programmes that deliver engaging, personalised client experiences across multichannel touchpoints during the client lifecycle.


To support this, we are looking to appoint a CRM Strategist to lead the development and delivery of a future state CRM strategy for IG Group, with the aim of creating a data-led, immersive client experience across our communications channels.


The role will ensure that we deploy best in class CRM, adopt standardised best practices and keep a keen eye on performance and continuous optimisation of our campaigns and journeys.

The role will report into the Head of CRM, and will work closely with CRM Analytics, Data Science, Marketing Intelligence, Technology and local markets to execute on our strategy.

What you will do

  • Develop and design CRM strategy for clients from Onboarding through retention
  • Work with analytics team to generate insights and turn them into creative and strategic recommendations for CRM programmes
  • Design global, standardised journeys across the client lifecycle, and work with CRM Executives and markets to localise for regions
  • Work with Creative and Copy teams to create a engaging, immersive communications experiences
  • Work with CRM Analytics to take a datadriven approach to continuously maintain and improve customer journeys through regular performance reviews and clearly defined testing strategies.
  • Understand the regulatory landscape and work with compliance to ensure our communications meet all requirements.
  • Be a brand guardian and ensure that all communications are delivered according to IG's brand guidelines and brand experience principles
  • Support our marketing colleagues across the regions in adapting the global CRM strategy for local relevance
  • As a specialist, you will be play a big part in educating the wider organisation on the role and importance of CRM within group marketing

You should have:

  • Experience in strategy and planning either within an integrated agency or client side in matrix organisation
  • Demonstrable experience developing integrated, crosschannel CRM strategy derived from powerful insights
  • A strong, creative thinker, who innately inquisitive, with the ability to make the complex simple
  • A passion for learning, and for sharing skills and capabilities to enable upskilling across relevant teams
  • Experience of the retail financial environment would be an advantage
  • Strong team and stakeholder management skills
