Job Summary
We are in search of skilled radiographers with experience in either CT, MRI, or both, to join our team at the Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospitals.
- Opportunities to work at Poole, Bournemouth, or both locations.
We are expanding our facilities with new CT scanners and perform a wide range of examinations in CT and MRI, staying at the forefront of technology.
We are proud reference sites for leading imaging brands, maintaining strong relationships and receiving outstanding support.
Main Duties of the Job
We have a dedicated team of radiographers and assistants focused on continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest scanning techniques.
We offer training for band 5 recruits and the opportunity for experienced CT or MRI radiographers to join as band 6 with the chance to cross-train.
Hours: Variable shifts between 7am and 8pm, including weekends, bank holidays, and night shifts.
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital and/or Poole Hospital.

Qualification / Experience
Essential
- DCR (R) or BSc in Radiography.
- Current HCPC Registration.
- NHS experience or equivalent.
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualification in CT or MRI.

- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously.
Desirable
- Knowledge of multi-slice CT techniques and principles, and/or an excellent working knowledge of MRI physics principles.
