The Associate Flood Risk & Hydraulic Modeller position presents a one-of-a-kind chance for a seasoned professional to establish and lead their own team, with the valuable support and guidance of a diverse group of experts.

About the Role:
As an Associate Flood Risk & Hydraulic Modeller, your role will involve utilizing your extensive industry experience and engineering background to develop and manage 1D/2D hydraulic models, Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Alleviation Schemes, and Drainage Strategies for a variety of projects. You will be responsible for establishing best practices, fostering innovation, and contributing to the success of water systems and infrastructure-related projects.
About You:
As the ideal candidate for the role of Associate Flood Risk & Hydraulic Modeller, you should have a proven track record in delivering Flood Alleviation schemes, Flood Risk Assessments, and Drainage Strategies. Additionally, you must possess in-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework to ensure that your designs and projects adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools such as Autocad, ArcGIS, and Hydraulic Modelling software
- Strong project management skills encompassing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Full UK driving license
