IT Services is the central IT department for the University, one of many 'Professional Services' teams providing wide-ranging support for the University's core teaching, learning and research activities.
We are looking for an experienced first-line IT helpdesk operator to join our small, friendly team, working within IT Services.
You will be supporting University staff in their use of (predominantly Microsoft) operating systems and software, helping them to get the most out of their standard issue laptop and desktop devices.
You will also take enquiries and deal with issues from staff in our libraries who in turn support our students.
You will need to be a quick learner as things change often, but there are always colleagues on hand throughout the department to offer guidance and support.
