The Corporate Actions Testing IC Associate supports User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Corporate Actions.

Corporate Actions UAT at DTC consists of support for the following functions:

Voluntary & Mandatory Reorganization, Issuer Services, Principal & Interest, Cash / Stock Distributions, International Dividends & US Tax Operations.

The Corporate Actions Testing IC Associate demonstrates an aptitude for technology and working with financial systems.

The role requires the individual to work with operations and development teams to write appropriate testing scripts and execute testing and reporting/remediation.


Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and understands business requirements
  • Develops test plans and cases via ALM
  • Reviews test plans/cases with stakeholders, obtains approval
  • Executes test cases required for endtoend testing on distributed and/or mainframe test environments
  • Discovers, reports and tracks defects via JIRA
  • Contributes to the automation development of endtoend testing
  • Takes ownership of workload, ensures deliverables met while adhering to critical timeframes; ability to manage competing priorities. Assists in compliance and risk management activities
  • Strong knowledge of department controls. Aligns risk and control processes into daytoday responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk, escalates appropriately
  • Maintains a steadfast focus on meeting the needs/requests of our internal and external clients, including responding to inquiries timely and accurately, resolving issues promptly
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills, active engagement in meetings and display curiosity to learn and grow; accepts feedback given and applies to role. Presents information clearly while speaking in small to midsized groups
  • Facilitates training sessions for junior team members as directed by management. Oversees the development of training plans to meet staff development targets.
  • Participates and owns small projects and initiatives.

  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across varying functions and projects.
