Project Assistant Volunteer


ACAA is looking to recruit an enthusiastic volunteer who wishes to assist the Project Manager in delivery of different projects, from Women's Empowerment to Home Energy Advice for Refugees.


Key responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in delivering Women's Empowerment and Home Energy Project for Refugees
  • Undertake administrative work, including documentation and evaluation
  • Help with designing posters,leaflets, and other publicity materials
  • Conduct research, write blogs, articles, etc.
  • Help with planning new workshops and social and cultural events
  • Have previous experience in administration, project management, working for charities, or a keen interest in politics, policy making, research and development
  • Have fluency in written and spoken English and Hindi
  • Have strong interpersonal, organisational, communication skills, complex problem solving skills, and independent working skills
  • Have a passion for helping refugees and asylumseekers

Desirable:

  • Fluency in English and Hindi

Job Types:
Voluntary

Part-time hours:2-3 days/week

The position is voluntary and therefore unpaid.
