As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing quotes, and maintaining the branch and warehouse to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve on the trade counter: Handle customer enquiries, process transactions, and provide product information.
  • Process quotes: Accurately prepare and submit quotes to customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the branch and warehouse: Ensure the branch and warehouse are clean, organized, and well-maintained, including stock rotation and general housekeeping.
  • Receive, check, and store incoming goods: Verify the quality and quantity of incoming goods and store them in a secure and organized manner.
  • Pick orders: Accurately select and prepare orders for delivery or collection.
  • Carry out deliveries: Safely transport goods to customers in the local area.
  • Assist with general duties: Support the Branch Manager and their assistant with various tasks and projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills: Provide a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Great communication skills: Clearly and concisely communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Flexible approach: Adapt to changing priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Ambitious and keen to learn: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Full UK driving licence: Hold a valid UK driving licence and be able to drive company vehicles.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: Up to £27,000 per annum.
  • 40-hour working week: Monday to Friday, with regular breaks and time off.
  • Annual leave: 33 days per year, increasing with length of service.
